OK so i just picked up a 09 mower for 50 bucks,, i started at the guys house and a little White Smoke came out then it ran great!
Well I got it to my house then fired it up, Same thing a little bit of white smoke and then fine,, i started mowing my acre of Weeds then i noticed the little white smoke was starting to get worse,
I figured it would just run/ burn the crap that was probably been in there or a oil leak, but then,,, There was a cloud around my yard and it was getting worse, It started to have issues then died,, Was Extremely hot so i let it cool down and fired it up again to time the smoke cloud, about 10 mins. then smokes! Take is all apart and then clean it?! Please Help! :anyone:
It should be getting a strong air flow across the head(s) for cooling. If the flywheel has all its air pumping vanes, remove the shroud that directs air flow and check for an obstruction such as a rodent nest.

If it's white smoke that usually means fuel. Blue smoke is oil. Check oil level it might be over filler. Also check A\F it could be clogged causing very rich fuel mixture. What kind of engine is it? If its a Tecumseh then reset the float night. It could be holding to much fuel in the bowl.
