My mower lift arm raises the deck but the pin is very wobbly. I purchased a new assembly from the parts diagram and the wrong part arrived, I found that the old part # is no longer available, #179504 shown here and looks exactly like the old one , the only thing available is this one which is 3 inches shorter, any ideas as to a fix or where to find one. Been on the computer all day.

What's your tractors model number? it should be located under the seat on a white tag

Model # is 917-274632 and the assembly shown in the diagrams doesn't look like mine but has the same part # as the one with the red plunger button
