So yesterday i got a phone call from a construction and property preservation company thats looking for contractors in my area to do lawn care and landscaping work. Anyone got any idea what its all about? If its something you need a license for?

Not sure of your area or what companies called. Two of the last three that called me took me to the cleaners. I am working for one right now that has one house that has been upfront and pays.

None I have worked for have paid less than once a month. Therefore you are normally looking at two cuts atleast before you get any money.

Check who you are talking to make sure who they are and what the deal is.

In Alabama to cut grass you only have to have city liscenses. With that said it is for every city you work in. I have like 4 different ones. Those companies claim you do not have to buy liscenses because you are an employee of theirs......... I am not sure how that would fly in some of the small towns around here. Guess I am just leary of them cause I have been lied to by some of them.
