Hi Folks
Interested to learn from your experience operating a ride-on lawn tractor during winter with snow blower attachment.
The main concern is cold starts in the dead of winter.
Will those cold starts wear and prematurely age the engine and other moving parts, even if the correct grade oil for winter operation is used?
Are lawn tractors that are converted to snow blowers, reliable in comparison to walk-behind snow blowers, whose engines are made presumably for subzero starts?
I'm considering the purchase of a new snow blower attachment for my Cub Cadet XT2 Enduro with the Kawasaki engine instead of a walk-behind snow blower with tracks.
It would be a huge bonus if you also own and converted a Cub Cadet XT2 LX-4# KW to a snowblower.
