I have an old 22" Jacobsen Greens mower model 62230 that will not disengage the clutch when the drive control lever is put in the Neutral position. The big metal drive roller and blade reel just keep on turning. The mower worked fine when I last used it about two years ago. I've tried adjusting the clutch collar with no success. I've verified that the key between the collar and drive disk is in place. The control lever appears to work normally - Neutral moves the control sleeve back from the clutch collar and the drive position moves the collar against the drive disk. Obviously, I'm missing something here - anybody have insight on why the clutch will not disengage ?
