It's me again'
I need to replace the clutch on my Super mini 25 hp kawa.
I ordered a clutch using Hustler part even though the picture did not look right. Sure enough the clutch that arrived is upside down. The clutch I took off is Warner # 5218213 and has the pulley on the engine side and the d spacer on the "clutch" side. In my google searchs of part nos Hustler 787366 and Warner 5218213 the pictures show the pulley on the bottom . I am very confused. Can anyone help?

I looked at 3 different sites at your clutch and they all showed the spacer on the clutch side. Only Oxclutch shows the spacer on the pulley side, but they could be just using a generic picture and not the actual clutch.

The clutch I got was from Oxclutch. It' just like the picture on the site.

I am wondering if the D spacer could be moved to the other side. if everything is identical between the clutches it could be possible. Something to check would be to make sure the spring arms that attach the friction plates are facing the same direction on both clutches. Clutches are directional so have to make sure they are for the same direction of travel.

that would be the best solution. i'll check with Ox Clutch tomorrow.

Ox clutch says just knock out the D spacer and install on the clutch side.

I'll know soon if that is correct.
