This is my 1st post to this forum.
I have an EZ Walk (21") w/ 7HP B&S (Model 917.377710). I have recently come to doubt that my clutch is working right, even though I keep resetting it using the spring-loaded button on the bottom of the handle. The mower doesn't seem to have much power when the rear-wheel power is engaged.
I wonder if anyone has experienced this and whether anyone has some specific advice as to how to get into the guts of the clutch. If it's a belt, I'd like to inspect it. If a plate, I'd like to inspect that.
Other than this, it's been a pretty good mower. I'm too cheap to take it to a mower shop - I do all my own maintenance.
Any help is appreciated.
