In the process of replacing the drive belt i decided to clean up and repaint the inside of the mower deck. In order to do the job all the way im trying to remove the clip director. I took off two small bolts holding the bracket to the frame along with a small screw in the handle of the clip director, BUT the clip director door will not separate underneath from the bracket (switch)! Please, for the love of God, let me know what I’m doing wrong here. I have tried pulling and wiggling the door apart and I am close to breaking it off.
Nothing in the manual or anywhere on the internet for how to remove this part from the deck. Thanks in advance! Pics attached.
