I recently got a 1970 112. I seen a video on YouTube with a diesel swapped 112. Engine swaps kind of catch my attention. Can any one give some info on these engines or have any experience with a similar swap.
I have never done it personally but a guy in the neighborhood has. He's got JD112 with Yanmar single cylinder diesel and 5 acres to maintain. I think it is a 10HP and I see him driving it all the time plowing snow, etc.
I don't think that these engines come with an alternator so you'd need to put one in somehow or charge your battery with a charger when needed.
