Anyone here like to chat on AIM, MSN, Yahoo, ETC? I am always looking for people to talk mowers too!

Also, any chance we can get a chat added to this site (and if so, something that works on Android app)

Perfect Mowing Device
Now,..'that' explanation i can live with :wink:cause i understand what it means.

But it actually is still incorrect.
PMD stands for ..Pump Mounted..Driver. this is an automotive electrical device and is found bolted to the fuel injection pump of 6.5 ltr GM diesel engine in pre ninety GM and Chevy trucks.

What i'm trying to say is that each trade has it's own language with abriviations that can have the same letters but make different words.
Your computer language does make perfect sense to you,but means :confused2: to me.As such i hate Abriviations .

Here, try to figger these out. CTS,CPS,OPS,ESO,FS

If you're going to repair your own vehicle you'll need to know.
You have the first 3(Coolant Temperature Sensor,Crankshaft Position Sensor,Oil Pressure Sensor/switch) of these things in your car,..any car.And depending on make and engine the last 2 (Engine Shut Off solenoid and Fuel Solenoid) as well + another bunch of various sensors, switches and other electr gadgets.

You're right...It wasn't all that hard to fix... it was hard finding just the right size springs. It was really hard to get to, so that I could remove and re-install it it.
I'm pretty sure I saved 500$
OK.. I'll bite. what is a FAGIFF and a NAFTAB?

CPPS

Clutch Pedal Position Switch.
If it fails, the truck may not start or the cruise control won't work.
The factory switch is lubricated with non flammable grease to make it "arc-less". This grease is corrosive and deteriorates the 2 compression springs inside.
Finding the right spring is next to impossible. I used a shorter spring and supplemented the length with some rubber tubbing.
right now it works great, it's been a bout 7 months since I performed this jury rig so we will see.

I wish there was some good diagnostic software one could load on to a lap top and plug into the vehicle so you could troubleshoot it. That would be worth a fortune.

Sowwy about that,..damn abriviations anyway

AE,..Auto Enginuity(Google it). Its a bidirectional scan tool that connects to the OB ll (On Board)diagnostic connector under the dash with a interface cable to your puter.
The basic program is about $250 and you have to buy the software for you specific make if it ain't included.
