Carb problems

A Neighbor had a MTD Chipper/Shredder It has a 6.5 H.P. Briggs Intek It has sat for 1 year in his shed I bought it for $50.00 Looks brand new Here the Problem it had gas still in it I drained the Gas took carb off cleaned it all up put it back together and started up on second pull ran great. I took it to a customer place to trim is trees, it started right up ran great then just died Gas Tank is full pull bowel of no gas any suggestions all help would be greatly appreciated Thanks Gary

If you pulled the float bowl off and there was no fuel, you have a fuel blockage. First try loosening your fuel cap to allow air into your tank. Then check for a blocked fuel line.
