I want to try and fix an oil leak on my HR215SXA but can't seem to find it. It seems to be coming from under the flywheel... It taks several minutes before it starts to leak but with the flywheel spinning around it blows the oil all around. I did replace the seal on the shaft and that breather seal (cork gasket)... I believe I have the shaft seal in correctly. Any Ideas? :confused2:

You may have cut the seal when you installed it or do not install it far enough into the seat.

I was thinking about that seal, if I needed to add some type of sealant when I install it. I used a piece of PCV pipe and just pushed down hard and it went in. I am beginning to think it has to be from there...
I was not sure how much pressure it should have taken to install it.

It's not the amount of pressure you use, it is more in making sure you have cleaned the shaft, lube the shaft and seal and install it slowly as not to cut it. Final depth is normally about 1/16" below the rim.
