Does anybody know a way to bypass the dsam system on a Kohler engine

Not without replacing the ignition module, redoing the wiring harness, and replacing the flywheel (different key position)
kohler came out with a kit a few years back that replaces the ignition modules, and eliminates the sam on some engines. the spark advance is now built into the module itself.
