I recently downloaded a free app called "tiny scan." It has been very helpful for quick photos of documents that needed to be scanned and sent in. I'm curious as to what apps you may be using on your iPads and iPhones for your business attires. Thank you in advance. ?

Pretty much the camera on my IPhone and Craigslist on my IPhone or my Kindle Fire.

I tried using OneNote to keep track of what I pay for project machines and what they need but, gave up on it because my hands were always dirty from working on the projects when I remembered I needed to add them to OneNote.

Now, I just take notes in a note book using an old fashioned ball point pen. I can easily write messages about folks that have called, what they have to offer or what they need, phone numbers..

Some things are just better the old fashioned way..

I agree, sometimes the old fashion way is the easiest way on some things. You definitely would have a hard copy on that one. Thanks for your response. Yes, I love the camera features.

Square for easy payments is AWESOME. Also, mint is helpful just to keep tracking of banking info all in one place.

OK, call me old fashioned (waits until all the forum members quit callin him 'old fashioned) but, I'm really not ready for the whole 'Swipe your credit card in my IPhone' trick.

It seems every day you hear about some major reseller losing all their customers information to some Russian or Korean Hacker group...

The IPhones and Androids have so many security issues it's just a matter of time before they hack the credit card app on your cell phone.

I deal with cash for now. If I decide to get more serious and crank up my van and start running mobile repair, I'll prolly have to look into some way of taking credit cards.

I'm more concerned now with finding out how I can get the parts I need at or near 'Dealer' cost though. I've got a decent Auto Parts store locally here that sells Champion spark plugs for $1.99 to $2.99 for small engines but, I'm sure someplace that's cheaper. Just gotta figure out how to get into that market..

Sorry for the hijack..
