One of the fins on the flywheel of my Kawasaki FC420 engine is broken off. Will one broken off fin cause enough imbalance to damage the engine ?

I have seen this before. I really can't see where affects anything.

I have ran a briggs for years with a broke fin. So I do not think it will hurt anything.

It wont do anything I have one that has 3 broke off ..I bought the tractor like that and its been going for the last 7 years and who knows how long it was like that before I got it i use at the shop to cut and pull stuff around the yard
Thanks for all the info. I can' t notice any additional vibration but wanted to ask. The Kawasaki FC420v sure has been a great engine still going strong after all these years on a John Deere 175.

As I recall that engine has a internal balance system.
