I need a picture that will show me the proper connections for the springs and parts of the throttle and governor mechanisms on my Briggs & Stratton 10T502-1316-B1 - it is not running properly after I got it back from being loaned out and I think something is either missing or not connected properly on these two items. Please help - I have done all kinds of searches on the web and can't find a pictorial representation to show me how this should look when properly connected with all parts in place
Check both springs to make sure they didn't get stretched out of shape by being shoved into shrubs. My Brother-in-law did this to his and it would run right until both springs were replaced. Probably about $10 for both...
Look at the pic he posted. These (cheap)plastic carbs like to skip over the throttle stopping block. Make sure the throttle linkage plate looks like the one in the pick and it hasn't jumped over the stopping block.
