I have 5.5 hp BT,carb on the gas tank, will only run when I prime it with bubble. I cleaned out the carb but still won't run on it's own. Any ideas?:ashamed:

Had one last week did the same thing I put sea foam in the gas runs like new now Put about a cap full right in the carb while you keep it going with primer bulb. It will smoke alot

its a fuel starvation from what you said.....and that means cleaning [ the main pick up probably]...also on some primers the main jet wont work if the primer /air cleaner gasket is bad or installed wrong
does it have a metal tank under the carb and the carb is mounted to it? if so then you need to replace the diaphragm and gasket between them, you can pick it up at lowes usually , once you have the tank and carb apart you need to replace them, this is a commmon fix on them.
