I have John Deere 111 with a Briggs 11 horse. The carb keeps filling the engine and air cleaner housing with fuel, I have cleaned the carb several times, and keeps on doing it. Is the next step and carb kit or just a new carb?

Sounds like your float needle is not sealing.
Yes a new carb kit should fit it and also fit a fuel tap.

Take it apart again, and shake your float.

Do you hear any sloshing?

replace float and put a shut off valve in the fuel line so if it mess up again it wont fill the base with gas

Don't need to install a complete carb kit. Just replace the float needle and seat, which is the most common cause of this problem. Post engine numbers and we will get you the parts number. My guess is that it is 398188, but with out your engine numbers it's only a guess.
