I have just bought a little billy goat vacuum and cant get it to start at all
so far I have emptied the fuel - I put fresh fuel in in case the first was too old or had water in
I have cleaned the air filter
I have taken out the spark plug and cleaned it
I have sprayed engine start in the carburettor still with no luck, all it seems to do is turn and make phut phut noises
I tried to take the carburettor off completely and have I think taken all the bolts out but it seems wedged in and I don't want to keep pulling in case a) I cannot get it back in or b I damage something
if that is what I should be doing does anyone know of a link to a video I can see so I can copy the procedure?
or am I totally wrong and I need to look at another solution- the carburettor is made of plastic and it is a 5hp engine if that helps
any help is appreciated
thanks

I'd start first see if I had spark before doing all that. If you have good spark then look for fuel issue or carb. Without more info on the engine you won't get much help. Removal of the carb on some small brigs require you to remove the studs that the air cleaner bolts to studs have a flange that actually bolt the carb to the engine.
