I have acquired a Briggs & Stratton 6FB that I am refurbishing. I am looking for information and diagrams related to the carburetor and blade governor springs/linkage. In particular I am trying to find out the spring & linkage length, strength etc. Any diagrams showing location and orientation of each would be helpful also.

Thank you for the links. I have the one manual you linked to. My best guess is that the diagrams that show some spring locations are that of a 6 or 6F but not the 6FB. I don't know if that makes a difference or not. I believe the parts I am looking for are:

26267 - Spring (control wire return)
26393 - Spring (for governor)
26391 Throttle Link
292661 - Fuel Line
292797 - Fuel Tank Outlet (with strainer)
92427 - Connector (fuel line & carburetor)

The items related to the fuel line I can live without and adapt with flexible tubing etc. The springs and linkage for the blade governor, carburetor etc. are much more difficult for me to fabricate.
