Sounds real suspicious of a push rod coming from its intended position and no longer in rocker lever.
Oil back in air filter.
Lets get it running better and see if this problem heals itself.

a dirty carb ,hole in float or water in the fuel sys can cause this so can timing or a bent push rod or lose rocker ..I would check carb and fuel sys its the easiest then go from there good luck let us know how you make out
You most likely have one cylinder not working....
A quick trouble shooting method...
With the engine running (poorly), short out.or pull one of the plug wires, if it has no change, thats the bad cylinder... if it kills the engine, the other cylinder is having problems... :smile:KennyV
