My breather hose broke . I replaced it but it is now blowing oil and smoke from exhaust and cuts off after 5 seconds every time. HELP?

This is on a John Deere GT225 lawn tractor.

Oil and smoke out your exhaust, well that is more than likely a piston getting ready to drop or valve seals are totaled maybe both as well.
