I have a craftsman riding mower that needs brake adjustment. This is a 2006 year model. How to adjust the brakes, not with the brake rod.

That flat piece that the brake rod attaches to should have a nut on the other end where the brake disc is. Adjust that nut in or out to set the free travel on the movement of the flat metal brake plate.
