Brake Park pedal to switch (nc/no) adjustment on snapper lt140h38 ABV

Starting LT140h38 is difficult because the park brake pedal must be depressed very firmly to allow the starter to crank the engine when the key-switch is turned to the crank position. How can the parking brake to switch (nc/no) [part # 2-2886] be adjusted so less foot-pressure is needed on the parking brake pedal during engine start?

Do not know if there is any adjustment but the old trick is to get a pan head ( cheese head to some ) self tapping screw about 1/2" long.
Screw that into the plunger which adds about 1/8" to the plunger.
Need more then pop a few washers under the screw.
