bolt broke off

I have a quantum mower motor where 2 bolts that held it to the mower deck broke off in the engine sump.
I never had to extract this so for anyone who did - is it a pain to remove(I assume heat it up wiht a torch and whack the bolt) so is it worth the trouble??

TIA.

How did they break off, Flush with sump? a little sticking out? or recessed?
I have good luck with left hand drill bits or EZ outs.

Yes, flush with sump. :-(
I'm thinking if it is strong enough to break the bolt, it may not be worth the trouble to try to remove it...

soak it in Kroil or Liquid wrench for a day or so.
or depending on where it's broke out, you might can drill it out (exact size bit) and use a nut and bolt. that's how i affix most quantums to frames.
