Bolens BL150 . New primer bulb.won't fill with fuel.

I put a new primer bulb and new fuel lines on my Bolens BL150 trimmer When I push the bulb to prime it does not pull any fuel into the bulb. What is causing this problem?

When you push and release the primer does it sound like it is sucking air through the center of the carb. Most likely a check valve has stuck open and it won't prime. Sometimes you can get fuel into the carb, and get them to seal. most of the time it requires replacing the carb.

Well if you had to replace those parts, then you also need to dis-assemble and correctly clean the carb.

And, of course, you need to hook up the replaced fuel lines correctly.........
