While in neutral (arms extended out) the mower will ever so slowly move forwards. I did replace the pump idler spring when it broke.

2013 Outlaw Extreme 5400 54" 852cc Kawasaki
about 50 hour on the clock

Jack the back wheels up off the ground.
There is a rod on the arms the run to the drives. With the engine running adjust the rods till the wheels stop moving.
Should be able to use a 9/16s wrench.

yes brake holds
I tried to adjust these to make them shorter..but there wasn't any adjustment left
