Hey gang! Thanks for taking a look at my post. Oh man, 3 mowers all having troubles this week...lots of frustration! The one I need to focus on is the Bob-cat ZT 942206 - yesterday, my dear husband, got on the mower to start it and it wouldn't start...so he took it to the shop and they put a new battery it in. He mowed a few yards with no problems and when he went to start it last night -nothing. So, we charged the battery this morning and now it starts fine but I'm wondering why would the battery not be recharging?

You will need a wiring diagram, if you can find one come back and post it up. that way someone here will help you.

Hello sillygurl, shouldn't be very hard to find the problem....
But first need to know what engine you have... It's either a Kawasaki or a Kohler...

The wiring diagram and a full parts breakdown can be found here: http://www.mowerpartsweb.com/MANUALS/BOBCAT/942206.PDF
The Kawasaki wiring is on page 30 and the Kohler on page 32...
in either case post back with a reference to what engine & it will be easy to walk through the troubleshooting process . :smile:KennyV

First check the fuse and then voltage regulator and then the charging coil.

The fuse comes from the voltage regulator to the key switch.
