My 17.5 hp TroyBilt mower is blowing oil out of the exhaust.

Check the oil level and smell, does it smell like gas. If the level is high and it smells like gas, the float needle in the carb is bad allowing gas to enter the crankcase. Solution, rebuild the carb and change the oil.
