Blinking oil light rant

I wonder who had the bright idea to make the oil pressure warning light on the dash blink when it corresponds with the CHG OIL display on the dash. Customer freaked out when he saw the oil light on, and shut the mower down thinking something was wrong and was worried that the engine could be damaged from low oil pressure

Hmm, reading the operator manual must have been more than the owner could stand.

I am surprised that this hasn't been noticed before. This isn't exactly a new mower. I think there was a 3rd party involved. Basically a hired hand was using the mower and notice the oil light on, and the owner didn't pay enough attention to see the change oil display.

Heck! don't change the oil until the engine locks up. LOL

I've seen that happen before.... New oil and filter, but the engine locked solid.
