Maybe a basic question, but do you, in the commercial or very experienced mowing group, when getting a new mower with new blade or getting new blades to replace old ones sharpen them the "new blades" or assume they are sharp because they are new and wait until after some mowing to take off and sharpen? Also, do you have any tips on sharpening blade best/easiest?

Oregon which also makes most of the OEM blades has what they call a 30-30 rule 30 degree angle while leaving the cutting edge 30 thousands unsharpened. Sharpening to a razor edge will immediately wear off to about 30 thousands anyway.
