Check the wiring first... Pay particular attention to the connections At the clutch, especially the ground.
If you have not found the problem after checking wiring, then start checking switches, PTO switch and all the interlock switching....

Thanks KennyV, that suggestion put me on the rite track. We had a ground wire going to the blades clutch that was broken at a place where someone had broken a wire before and had put a tie strap on so tite that it basically pinched the wire inside in half through time, causing it to connect and disconnect, hence the reason for the blades working intermittantly. Were in the green now!!
