On my Honda HRR2168VKA, connected to the blade control lever cable is an arm with a brake-pad like part that rubs against a flywheel or drum to stop the blade. This pad is worn out. Is there a replacement solution short of buying the entire actuator arm?
I have a Honda HRX217VLA and it appears the brake pad fell off and is scraping against the metal flywheel when I release the blade control lever. Did you buy just a pad or the full brake assembly? If just the pad, how did you attach--some kind of glue?
