repairing a mower with kohler engine(FORST TIME WITH THIS BRAND) the blade locked up on some rocks and needs repalcing the adapter looks like it has 2 bolts sheared off...id that correct?

It is more likely they are studs that engage into the holes on each side of the center blade bolt hole.
