I know this post is very old but I do have a solution, the plastic pulleys running the hydrostatic drives are plastic and bend easily. The belt breaking or coming off when I 1st started using the mower bent this plastic pully for the hydrostatic drives this made the belts susceptible to coming off, a big bump would have them coming off. Look at these pulleys and heat them up and bend them back into proper position. Once I fixed these pulleys I have not had the belts break or come off in years.
