Back when I started a lawn business many years ago, I had 3 signs made that I would rotate in my customers lawns, with their permission. That and word of mouth is what worked for me and didn't cost all that much.
Make LAWN CARE and your # visible from a distance on signs.
You can use these signs year round until you get enough clients that you can afford to be more selective on what or who you want to work for.
