Belt destroyed

I have a john deere GT235 with 54C deck. Lately is seems to be shredding the transmission belt
(from motor to deck). Deck appears to be level. Any ideas what is the cause? Thanks

Is belt OEM JD part? Remove & inspect idler pulleys on deck for replacement, bearings do wear out.
