1st attempt at beer holder failed , just switch from lawn tractor to zero turn and the beer is getting foamed up bad , thinking maybe between feet as it would be center of the machine , any advice ? maybe I just need to slow down

WELCOME TO LMF!
It might help if you put it in the center of the machine, but I think it would still get foamed up a lot. I think the best thing would be to make something that is independent from the machine so it can rock back and forth, thus not getting shooken up as much, like a gyroscopic cup holder. See video....

How about waiting until you're done mowing? Then go get a icy one. No foam. :licking:

LMF as you know I've been a cyclist for years and what I would use would be a bottle holder like you would put on a bicycle and a bottle like a cyclist would use. A 16oz water bottle will hold a can of coke or beer with room for expansion without spilling a drop. You can even buy the insulated bottles by Polar to keep it cold.

I have a Trek 820 mountain bike. I like riding rail-trails (if you don't know what they are, see this: Rail trail - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia). I also ride on the road. Even though I have a mountain bike, I don't do serious mountain biking, I just like how you can jump off curbs and stuff (if you had a road bike you couldn't do that as much). My 820 has a back pouch for phone, camera, etc., 3 lights, odometer, and mirror. I love it!

We have cycle runs on old disued railtracks aswell. We have a nice one over a long viaduct.

I also mountainbike up our local forest in all conditions including night riding with the head torches.

I made one for my John Deere rider, been using it for a few years, works perfectly. I mounted it at center of the mower and the bottom of the holder is is coushioned by a plastic arm.
no foaming, holds my beer mug which can accommodate 3 cans of beer, enough for the job. Go to search and type in DUI it will take you to the subject with pictures.
