can you repair a ball joint on a lt180 mower
the steering ball joint keeps popping out. i have it taped on now but is there any way i can fix it,
they want 30.00 fo a new one.

The only way i know that a ball joint keeps popping is because it's wore out and needs replaced.
But someone else may have a solution that i don't know about.

No you can't fix it. Only $30, feel lucky. Had a customer with a JD 4 wheel steer 729 the popped a ball joint link. The new part was $85.

It is worth $30 to not have to keep farkin' with it.

If it is a real screw on ball joint then it will be a standard engineering part.
So measure the thread on the rod and on the bolt then check engineering supply companies .
here is probably a cheaper one to be found but again for $ 30 not worth the hours spend trying to find one.
Mcmaster & Carr are a good starting point, any specialist bearing shop will also carry them usually under the name of TIE ROD END
