I have an MTD YardMachine riding tractor with the B&S model 42a707 in it. At the begining of this last summer, I couldn't start the mower, it was flooding. So I ordered a re-build kit for the carb. I re-built the carb and put it together. It worked great for the first 3 mows (about 4 hours), then it started it's old tricks again. If you shut the mower off, you couldn't get it to restart as it would flood. If it would run out of gas and you put gas back in, it wouldn't start because it would flood. Then after a few more times, it would start, run for 10-15 seconds and flood. I used to be able to pull the fuel line off, start it, let it run for 15 seconds, shut it off, re-attach the fuel and re-start it....and it would run fine. Well...I can no longer do this as it floods continuously now. It runs for 5-10 seconds and floods. Then the pull the line, then start over, only to have it flood constantly now. So I need help.....I can't figure it out. I'm about ready to put free on it and put it out in the front yard!!!!! :confused2: Please help!!!!
