Will only spin at cold start but if you hit it with starting fluid will crank right up and run like a dream. Have replaced plugs, fuel filter and air filter to no avail. When warm/hot will start effortlessly. Any suggestions?
 
If you have the single throttle/choke control there is a good chance that the choke isn't closing all the way. Move the throttle control all the way into the choke position. Loosen the throttle cable clamp on the front of the engine and pull it in the direction that removes all the slack and that should pull the choke all the way closed, and then retighten the clamp.
