Carb LMT 5-4993. Bought this snapper riding mower and throttle and choke linkage isn't hooked up. I tried hooking them up but they don't seem to be functioning. Anyone have any recommendations

What's the engine model number? Should be stamped near the spark plug area on the sheet metal.
