I have a model 130202 5 hp. I am wondering if anyone is familiar with the linkage and how the carb throttle is moved to the closed position. From what I see is the the short fat spring is moved when the mechanism connected to the throttle cable the spring is moved and then actually pushes the governor lever up which then closes the throttle. I was wondering if this is right.
The spring is on correctly. When the engine starts the govenor will push the linkage to close the throttle. The tab the spring is connected to is used to adjust the WOT setting. You bend it to adjust.
