picked up a 5500 watt generator today with a 10hp briggs and stratton, no spark, after checking everything out i figured it has to be the mag. anyway of checking it with a ohm meter.
I am sure there is probably a ohm spec for the ignition module. The standard testing procedure is to unplug the kill wire from the module, and crank the engine with a known good spark plug, if no fire replace module.
