Anyone know what the trick is to removing the shroud on a Kawasaki FR691V. All the bolts are removed. It wiggles but won't come off?!? What's up?

Did you remove the debris screen screws and debris screen?

NO. It has plastic fasteners and I don't have any replacements. Is there some clips under the plastic fan shroud cover?

Those plastic fasteners [92039] are supposed to removable and usable. Just pry up the center pin to release them. Under that plastic cover is a metal rotating screen [14037] that prevents the shroud from coming off. It is actually a little larger then the fan hole in the shroud. Three screws [92151] that requires either a hex bit or a torx bit depending the engine age is what hold this screen on. May have to smack them to get them to loosen.

Thanks. I researched the push rivets last night and problem solved. What a terrible design with the fan screen oversized to hold down the shroud
and keep it from being removed. The manual, of course, doesn't mention this very important step.
Thanks for following up! Best DB
