C chance123 Well-Known Member Sep 26, 2012 #2 Check to see if the choke fully closes when in the choke position.
R Rivets Lawn Royalty Sep 26, 2012 #3 Seeing that it is 30+ years old I would suggest a good carb cleaning and fresh gaskets.
