Are the rings and piston the same on "F" engine and "V" engine LawnBoy mowers?
Somewhere I read they were, and I want to know. Are the rings, or rings and piston the same on the "F" engine and the "V" engine lawnboys? (silver series) 4.5 hp. I would suspect the con-rod is not.

Yes the V and F series share the same part number piston and connecting rod. Interesting as I was just confirming that I noticed the piston 92-4924 is still available through Toro, but the rings are not...of course after market piston and rings are still available.
