Any tips on deck removal, belt and bearing replacement on an LTR 180?

I was a JD parts manager for several years and just took my mower to our shop because the work and parts were done at cost. Now that I would like to save some of that expense I want to do the preseason work myself. I have a bearing vibrating, and it is time to change belts while I have it apart. I just want some do-it-yourselfers to chime in with some tips to keep from making the first timers mistakes in disassembly/reassembly. Thanks

Never mind, anybody with half a brain and a little ingenuity can make it happen...

I do mine every spring. Buy Chinese bearings on Ebay for about $1.50 each shipped free in ten packs. (can you even buy a USA bearing these days?) On my mower the same bearing fits everything. And on mine I use a ratchet and socket on the tension idler nut to loosen the belt to take it off and put back on, makes the deck much easier to handle, you'll see how it works when you do it.
