Any experience with the Evatech hybrid Goat Robot for mowing steep hill?

We have a 45 degree (100 percent grade) hill that is very difficult to mow, mostly requiring weed whacking. After doing some research, we are considering getting either an ATV with hitch and mower, or the Evatech hybrid goat robot (wheeled version due to cost of the tracked model). But both these options are very expensive. So before spending this large sum, I was hoping to find out what others are doing in similar situations. (Yes, I saw the youtube showing someone mowing using a rope to direct the mower up and down a steep hill, but I don't have the arms for that. I'm older and have bad joints.)

WELCOME to LMF...

With a grade that steep ... Don't mow it, plant a short ground cover. :smile:KennyV

We tried that first. Unfortunately the wild grass out here takes over everything. And as we are in a wildfire area, this hill is dangerous if we don't keep it mowed. Any other thoughts out there?

do NOT buy ANY Evatech products! This is a scam company. Google the problems with these "mowers"---I am involved in a lawsuit with this "company" and the owner. No one has a working mower. Beware!! Check out the verdicts in August 2013!!
