Americas cup - any interest over there?

well it came down to the wire, both teams on match point, team U.S.A. won the cup today, team N.Z. were beaten by a better team with more money & resourses. but half of team U.S.A. were Kiwi's & both boats were built here in N.Z. so i guess we've got nothing to moan about, what a fantastic race series it was!!!!

I tried to watch two different races and one was called because of wind speed being too high in SF Bay. The other was great to watch. The USA team won but the NZ team was favored to win. Their win got about 20 seconds of air coverage on the PBS Newshour last night.

I think all are available for replay on youtube, and they were surprisingly watchable... Congrats to Team Oracle for winning, Congrats to Team New Zealand for forcing the Americans to learn how to race these 72 foot cats. Were it not for some bad luck with weather, the cup would have gone to New Zealand. Funny thing, I have a americas cup baseball hat I wear... at a restaurant the other day I was asked what golf tournament that was from...
